How to Choose High Quality Household Tissue Paper?

Household tissue paper is mainly used for daily hygiene. If the paper is placed in the bathroom, it is called toilet paper. Therefore, it is usually called household paper in the paper industry.

Household tissue paper is one of the indispensable paper types in people's lives. It is usually made of cotton pulp, wood pulp, straw pulp, and waste paper pulp. The good quality tissue paper is made of raw wood pulp. Its manufacturing process is similar to that of general paper, but it is required to be extremely thin and fragile. When it encounters water, it will rot and achieve environmental protection.

I. How to identify the quality of tissue paper?

1. Some tissue papers are thicker when you touch them, but the grade of these papers is lower because the sheet number of thicker papers is less in the case of the same weight. For example, D grade paper has above 270 sheets per 500 grams, while E grade paper has only 250 sheets or less. Therefore, in the case of the same weight, a thicker bag of tissue paper should be selected.

2. Because tissue paper is sold by weight, individual manufacturers may add more filling agents during the production process. The paper is thicker and harder, and has certain harm to the human body. Therefore, you should choose a softer tissue paper when purchasing.

3. The whole production process of tissue paper is completed at high temperature. If the packaging is not done in time, incompletely or improperly stored, the paper will be damp and polluted. Therefore, when selecting, you must select those products that are well-packaged and have a close production date.

4. Pay attention to the industry standard of crinkled tissue paper issued by the Ministry of Light Industry (GB2500-2000). The standard divides crinkled tissue paper into small roll paper and knife-cut paper. The technical indicators are divided into five grades, i.e. A, B, C, D and E.

II. Seven quality indicators of tissue paper
1. Appearance: the packaging should be checked first when you select tissue paper. The sealing of the product shall be neat and firm without damage. The packaging shall be printed with manufacturer name, manufacture date, product grade, standard number, sanitary standard number and other information. Secondly, looking at the paper appearance, it should be clean with no obvious dead pleats, defects, damage, hard blocks, grass gluten, pulp and other paper diseases and impurities. The paper should not have serious hair or powder loss phenomenon in use. There should be no residual printing ink in the paper.

2. Quantitative: It means that the weight or the number of paper sheets is not enough. According to relevant regulations, for a net content of 50grams to 100grams product its error is generally not more than 4.5grams; for a net content of 200grams to 300grams product, its error should not exceed 9grams.

3. Whiteness: If tissue paper is super white, it may be added an excessive amount of fluorescent bleach.

4. Water absorption: You can see the water absorption speed by the method of water dropping. The faster the speed goes, the better the absorption is.

5. Transverse tensile index: It is the toughness of the paper. You can judge it by seeing whether it is easy to break in use. Because of its long fiber length, pure wood pulp paper has high tensile strength and good toughness. It is not easy to get break.

6. Softness: It is an important indicator of tissue paper products. Good tissue paper should give people a soft and comfortable feeling.

7. Powdery dust: There is powder dust on paper. If the raw material is raw wood pulp, the dust degree is no problem. However, if the recycled paper is used as raw material and the process is not properly treated, the indicator shall be difficult to reach the standard.

III. How to choose high-quality household tissue paper?
Tissue paper can be divided into three categories: raw pulp paper, wood pulp paper, and straw pulp paper. What kind is good? I need to explain it to you.

1. The best tissue paper should contain 100% raw pulp and not add anything. The first thing is to look at the percent of raw pulp written on the bag for you. If it is 50%, 30%... then the paper should be not good.

2. If you do not want to buy such expensive paper, then you can consider wood pulp paper. The kind of tissue paper is often made of 50% wood pulp. If you want to buy 100% wood pulp paper, it is very difficult. Most of the pulp and paper mill will not use 100% wood pulp to make paper.

3. If you want to buy cheap but clean tissue paper, you can just buy 100% straw pulp paper. Although it is 100%, the paper is still relatively poor in quality. It is guaranteed that if the paper is made in a regular factory, it is absolutely hygienic. The only bad thing is that the crinkle on the paper is very thick and looks unsightly. It is best to go to the mall to buy tissue paper.

The following tips should be valued when purchasing tissue paper:
1. Packaging: Check whether the health permit number and factory address, zip code, telephone number and implementation standards are indicated on the product packaging bag.

2. Color: Because there is no additive in pure wood pulp paper, the color is natural ivory white and the texture is relatively uniform.

3. Endurance strength: Pure wood pulp paper has long fiber, large pull, good toughness and not easy to break. But the poor quality paper has irregular small holes and powder.

4. Fire test: Good tissue paper is white and gray in color after burnt, but the bad paper is black and gray.

5. Expiration date: The better napkins, facial tissues and women's supplies paper are marked with implementation standards and expiration date, but most of the bad paper is not marked.
